A pair of beautiful 9ct gold opal and diamond earrings. Each set with a fiery 8 mm x 10 mm tear shape opal. The opals display very lively colour play with vibrant flashes of predominantly green, yellow and orange. Each earring also has a line of 3 x 2 point round bright and lively diamonds, set in platinum. Gorgeously designed with a slight concave profile. Suspended from bead finials. With post and butterfly scroll fittings. The butterfly scrolls are more recent replacements. An exceptional pair of earrings which create a classic Art Deco look, dating to c.1960s.
