Dating to 1876, this gorgeous 15ct gold crescent fits neatly into the Victorian era. Designed with a central graduated row of alternating old cut diamonds and rubies and sweet beaded edge detailing. An estimated total of 16 points rich raspberry red rubies and 15 points bright and lively old cut diamonds. The crescent is of hollow construction with a closed back and a base metal pin to the reverse. There is a hoop attached at the back allowing this piece to be worn as a pendant. A beautiful example of antique English jewellery.
