A beautifully designed antique 18ct gold ring dating to the Edwardian era. This pretty piece is claw set with a central round 2 mm x 3 mm sapphire, flanked by two further 3 mm x 4 mm sapphires. The sapphires are a gorgeous mid velvet blue hue and catch the light beautifully. Surrounded by 8 individually set mini rose cut diamonds, totalling an estimated 0.12 carats. The ring face measures 8 mm x 14 mm. Dates to 1904. A beautiful example of antique English jewellery assayed in Chester. Maker’s mark S.U.
