A beautifully designed antique late Victorian 15ct gold brooch. Set with a central oval shaped garnet and pearl halo cluster. The garnet is a rich berry hue and measures 8 mm x 6 mm, the cluster measures 13 mm x 11 mm. With a twist and ball finial detailed bar and gorgeously suspended with two leafy garlands, one of which is articulated. The leaves are a subtle light green gold, creating a sweet and aesthetic detail. Beautifully highlighted with a 6 point old cut diamond drop. A pin and c clasp fitting to the back. Dates to c.1890s.
