This exquisite pair of drop earrings date to the early Victorian period, c.1840s. Each with mini rose cut diamonds individually set in silver. The pinched collet settings are a visual delight and typical of the early 19th century. The largest diamonds are estimated to be 5 points each. A total of approximately carats 0.32 carats combined. Closed back settings. With 9ct gold hook fittings. One can just imagine wearing these beautiful pieces under candlelight as they would have originally be intended. The suspended diamond drops move beautifully, also catching the light. Please note the box shown is for demonstration purposes only.
