An exquisite pair of Antique late Georgian flat cut garnet earrings dating to c. 1830s. Each earring is designed as a stylized flowerhead. 8 x 3 mm square garnets surround a central 6 mm round garnet. An estimated total of 4 carats for both earrings. The raspberry red rhodolite garnets are set in sterling silver. With 9ct gold screw back fittings. Closed foil back settings. One square garnet on each earring has a small surface crack, in-keeping with age. This beautiful pair of earrings have been exquisitely made. They would make the perfect heirloom piece or special gift.
