This glazed pendant has been lovingly made with tiny pieces of vibrant bird feathers to depict a bird in foliage with a iridescent mother of pearl background. The pendant measures 23 mm wide, with a closed back. The pendant was originally part of a bracelet and has been converted with antique components. Now lovingly suspended on an antique 9ct rose gold chain. A beautiful piece of Victorian conversion jewellery, where the pendant dates to c.1880s and the chain is slightly later, dating to c.1900.
