A beautiful and visually pleasing moonstone necklace set in 9ct gold. Designed as a graduated line of oval moonstone slim cabochon stones. The moonstones have lovely blue adularescence as you twist them in the light, producing a unique and enchanting glow. The largest moonstone measures approx. 17 mm x 12 mm and the smallest 10 mm x 6 mm. On a fine chain. Two of the smaller stones have tiny nibbles to their underneath edge. Dates to the mid 20th century, c.1940s.
