Dating to the end of the 19th century, this visually fascinating piece fits neatly into the Victorian era. Designed as a foil backed rock crystal dome, set in a sweet 15ct gold frame with closed back setting. The rock crystal has a depth of 11 mm and creates a mesmerising luminous glow as it catches the light. A little discolouration to the foil backing present, in keeping with age. Rock crystal is in fabulous condition. Recently lovingly converted from an antique component and suspended from a 9ct gold bail. Please note the box and chain shown are for demonstration purposes.
