A beautiful Victorian 15ct gold locket pendant with gorgeous turquoise and pearl detailing. The diamond shaped, sugar loaf cut turquoise are set on top elegant scroll-like forms, set with creamy white seed pearls. Creating a pretty and carefully balanced decorative design. The combination of turquoise and was a popular Victorian aesthetic, creating a palette of soft pastels hues. The locket opens and closes neatly and securely at the side. One interior compartment still retains its original glazed panel. Please note the boxes shown are for demonstration purposes. Dates to c.1860s – 1880s.
