A very pretty antique 18ct gold old cut diamond buttercup crossover ring, dating to the first quarter of the 20th century. An oval shaped 4 mm x 3 mm turquoise sits to the centre, flanked by old cut diamonds to either side, in sweet buttercup settings and a visually pleasing crossover design. The diamonds are estimated to be 8 points each. The ring face measures 12 mm x 10 mm. On a plain shank. With lovely antique hallmarks inside the band, assayed in Chester, England. Maker’s mark JH.
