A beautiful and classical antique jewel dating to the early Victorian era, c. 1840s. This gorgeous ring is designed as a daisy cluster set with lustrous creamy white split pearls surrounding a central pink sapphire. The pretty sapphire is a raspberry hue and catches the light beautifully. The cluster measures 13 mm x 13 mm. Flanked by two small twinkling diamonds and scrolling leaf detailed shoulders. The shank has been engraved with foliate motifs. An antique delight whose story began at the end of the Georgian and into the early Victorian period, shortly after Jane Austen wrote Pride and Prejudice.
