This exquisite antique English ring dates to first half of the 19th century, c.1840s, fitting neatly between the late Georgian and early Victorian eras. Set with a central round shaped garnet and a halo of mini rose cut diamonds. The garnet is a rich and delicious berry hue with a hint of plum. Measuring 7 mm in diameter and beautifully saturated. Surrounded by a halo of individually set twinkling diamonds, totalling an estimated 0.34 carats. Flanked by diamond set foliate and open detailed shoulders. The cluster measures 11 mm in diameter. A gorgeous 180 year old jewel that would make a perfect antique engagement ring. Offered in very good antique condition with a few minor nibbles to facet edges as would be expected.
