An aesthetic antique Victorian ring dating to the turn of the 20th century. This beautiful 18ct gold ring has been designed as a navette depicting a classical female figure. Gorgeously carved in hard stone, this green agate has a white band with a green background. The female figure is depicted in a classical s shaped stance, traditionally found in ancient Greek and Roman statues. The ring face measures 17 mm x 7 mm. Flanked by scrolling, split detail shoulders. On a plain shank. With lovely hallmarks to the inside of the band. Maker’s mark C.G. for Charles Green & Son. Dates to the year 1900.
