An aesthetic antique jewel dating to the end of the 19th century. Beautifully set with three opals and two cushion cut amethysts in high carat gold. The opals show a soft play of colour predominantly with flashes of red. The amethysts are a rich plum hue with lovely pinkish red overtones. Ring face measure 7 mm at widest. With beaded detailing and gorgeous scrolling ionic column design shoulders. This piece came to me very heavily patinated and has been polished so she sparkles beautifully. On a plain shank.
