An aesthetically designed 9ct gold ring, claw set with a central oval-shaped opal. The opal shows a good play of colour and measures 7 mm x 5 mm. Highlighted with four round rubies to its sides, each measuring 2 mm x 2 mm. The ring face is a sweet, lightly textured, leaf shape with a gently scalloped edging. Face measures 18 x 11 mm. On a plain shank. Dates to the c.1970s – 1980s.
