A special, early 19th century English ring dating to c.1820 – 1830ss. Fitting neatly between the late Georgian and early Victorian eras. Gorgeously set with rich rich spinels and creamy white and lustrous pearls, together with finely detailed bead finials. The spinels are beautifully matched and each measure 2.5 mm x 3 mm. The largest central pearl measures 3 mm wide. In a closed back setting, with hand engraved initials to the reverse. The ring face measures 5 mm x 20 mm. A wonderful example of early English 18ct gold jewellery.
