A sweet Victorian rose cut diamond bird pendant on an antique 9ct gold chain with spring clasp. The bird dates to the c.1880s and has been recently lovingly converted from an antique component. The bird’s eye is highlighted as a pinkish red gemstone, its beak is 9ct gold and the texture of the feathers are cleverly suggested by the silver detailing and mini diamonds. Bird measures 16 mm x 6 mm, pendant is 30 mm long including the bail. Suspended from a 9ct rose gold pendant chain, that dates to the turn of the 20th century, c.1900. Please note the box shown is for demonstration purposes.
Measurements: the chain measures 47.9 cm or 18 7/8 inches in length
Weighs: 4.9 grams
Hallmarks: none, bird tests as sterling silver and the chain tests as 9ct gold
